Washington For Pete

Internal Leadership Team

We have a variety of behind-the-scenes organizing and support roles needed to help out our local and regional leaders across the state. Please check out the options below, and use the form at the bottom to apply for any and all roles where you think you may be a good fit.

Everyone is welcome to apply, but we would like to make a special call for women, LGBTQIA+, and people of color. Diversity in leadership is critical to us, just as it is to the official campaign.

-> Washington For Pete is an entirely VOLUNTEER organization. These are not paid roles. <-

Diversity is the bedrock for Pete’s vision of democracy. In that spirit we would like to have a person, or group of people, dedicated to centering and broadcasting the voices of minority groups and historically marginalized communities within all leadership discussions. We recognize that the relational organizing that Pete relies on to spread awareness by word of mouth relies on having strong advocates, and that the trust of these communities has often been abused or taken for granted in the past.

We believe that Pete is different, and building that trust starts with being accountable, responsible, and supportive of all communities.

The Coalition Coordinator would be responsible for reaching out to individuals from marginalized communities who support Pete and would like to advocate for him to their communities. The Coordinator would assist these advocates with getting resources and information, as well as bringing feedback to the grassroots leadership team so that we can amplify it.

If you are a member of, or are connected to members of any of these communities or others, your voice is needed, wanted, and will be heard with gratitude!
